Parents

It is weird to be taking care of my own parents now. They have gotten to that age where I am having to make decisions for them and help them with everyday things like getting the places they need to go. It is so different because I am used to them being the ones always helping me and taking care of things that I need. The tables have certainly turned. It seems to be happening to all of my friends that are my age too. My parents just moved so they could be closer to me. I need to be able to get over to their house quickly if they need me. I also just don’t like having to drive all the way across town to pick them up to take them grocery shopping or to the doctor’s office! When they moved I pretty much had to take care of everything. I could tell it was just overwhelming them way too much. I got the movers lined up and told them when they would be coming. I got researched Texas electricity rates and got all of their utilities lined up.
